Charitable Fundraising

Over the years Maracom has committed to raising funds for various charitable causes, chosen by Maracom staff members. In recent years we have been delighted to make donations to the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, based in Romford, Essex, and the Children’s Safety Education Foundation.
2010 has seen Maracom’s most ambitious fund raising effort to date on behalf of Cancer Research UK. Six members of our staff have dedicated their time, effort and training to completing the 3 Peaks Challenge, a gruelling feat that requires participants to scale the summits of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours. Our efforts so far have meant that Maracom has raised well in excess of £3,000 for this worthy cause, with more to follow.
